Cookie policy
Last updated Oct 22, 2026
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This page explains which ones Quantum Timeline uses and how to control them.
Our own storage
We set no cookies of our own. The site keeps a few preferences in your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way: light or dark mode, how much detail the timeline shows, the News or Papers tab in Latest, your daily puzzle streak, and the date of your last visit. They are needed for the features you use, never leave your device and are not used to track you.
Advertising cookies (Google)
Pages may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners set cookies and use similar technologies to show ads, measure them, limit repetition and prevent fraud. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these are only used for personalised ads after you accept them in Google's consent message. The list of partners, their purposes and their retention periods is shown in that message.
To change or withdraw your consent at any time, use the Privacy and cookie settings link that Google's consent message leaves on the page, or delete this site's cookies in your browser. You can also manage ad personalisation at Google's ad settings.
Hosting
Cloudflare, which serves the site, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's cookie policy.
