RIKEN and partners announce access to a Japanese-built quantum computer

RIKEN and Japanese partners announce a 64-qubit superconducting computer and a cloud service scheduled to open on March 27. Access is for noncommercial research under agreements with RIKEN.
Why it matters
The service gives researchers access to a domestically developed processor and a way to test Japanese quantum hardware and software together.
