Infleqtion reduces circuit errors by detecting faults in encoded atoms

Infleqtion encodes two logical qubits in four neutral atoms and reports lower errors in Bell states and random circuits after rejecting faulty runs. A small materials simulation also improves, but its circuit is not fault tolerant; this is error detection.

Why it matters

The experiments test whether encoding and filtering errors can improve small computations before repeated correction becomes available.
