PsiQuantum benchmarks photonic computing components made in a chip foundry

PsiQuantum reports integrated photonic components, including two-qubit fusion at 99.22% fidelity. The figures condition on photon detection and exclude losses; these are component demonstrations, not an operating fault-tolerant computer.
Why it matters
Integrating photon sources, control and detectors in a semiconductor process addresses the manufacturing challenge of photonic quantum computing.
