Quantinuum runs random circuits on its upgraded 56-qubit H2

Quantinuum reports a 56-ion H2 processor with arbitrary qubit connectivity and 99.843(5)% two-qubit gate fidelity. Random-circuit sampling tests probe the limits of classical simulation; they do not demonstrate a useful commercial application.
Why it matters
High connectivity and low gate errors allow deeper tests of classical simulation limits with relatively few qubits.
