NVIDIA unveils NVQLink to link quantum processors with GPU supercomputers
Oct 28, 2025
On Oct. 28, 2025, NVIDIA announced NVQLink, an open design for wiring quantum processors to its GPUs with low delay. NVIDIA says 17 quantum hardware makers, five control-system makers and nine US national labs back it.
Why it matters
Error correction needs fast classical computing next to the qubits, and NVIDIA is betting that its GPUs will be that partner in future quantum machines.
