D-Wave plans a 20,000-qubit multi-chip annealer in 2029

D-Wave says its next annealer, Advantage3, will link several chips together, with an intermediate 20,000-qubit system available in 2029. Annealers are quantum machines specialized in optimization problems; its current Advantage2 has about 4,500 qubits.
